Mrs. William Campbell Arnold of 350 Park Avenue has announced the engagement of her daughter, Miss Susan Sargeant Arnold, to William Vrooman Steers of this city, son of Mrs. Howard Townsend Terrell of Schenectady, N. Y.
Miss Arnold was graduated from Dongan Hall and from La Petite Ecole Florentine, in Florence, Italy. Mr. Steers was graduated from the Albany (N. Y.) Academy and is now with the brokerage firm of Steers & Davidson, Inc.

Westhampton Beach, Aug. 19—Miss Susan Sargent Arnold, daughter of Mrs. WIlliam Campbell Arnold of 350 Park Ave., Manhattan, and the late Mr. Arnold, was married to William Vrooman Steers Jr., son of Mrs. Howard Terrell of Schenectady and the late William Vrooman Steers, this evening in the Westhampton Beach M. E. Church, the Rev. Dr. Philip Steinmetz of Elkins Park, Pa., officiating.
David Ralph Jacques Arnold gave his siter in marriage and the Misses Elizabeth Ives Arnold and Katherin deForest Arnold, sisters of the bried, were bridesmaids. Medora Grymes Arnold, niece of the bride, was flower girl.
Theodore Steers of Maplewood, N. J., was best man for his brother and the ushers were Alfred Dashiell Arnold of Houston, Tex., brother of the bride; Rainsfor Fairbanks Cotten, Norman Miller Pierce and John Titus Watkins of Manhattan, Russel E. Melcher of Englewood and Dwight Priest of Worcester, Mass. A reception for the family and a few friends followed at the home of the bride's mother.
After a motor trip Mr. and Mrs. Steers will reside at 308 E. 79th St., Manhattan. The bride was educated at Dongan Hall, Staten Island, and La Petit Ecole, Florence, Italy.
