Edna A. Evers, 96 of Warsaw, Indiana, passed away at 12:07 am Friday, January 10, 2014 in Masons Health and Rehabilitation Center, Warsaw.
On October 7, 1917, she was born in Warsaw, Indiana to Charles H. and Harriett (Cleveland) Thompson. She was united in marriage to Glen Evers on August 21, 1948 in Warsaw. He preceded her in death on February 27, 2003.
A lifetime resident of Warsaw, Edna owned Edna?s Beauty Basement for over 30 years. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Warsaw and was a charter member of the Women?s Bowling Association.
Edna is survived by three grandchildren, five great grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her parents, one daughter, four sisters and one brother.
A funeral service will be at 2:00 pm Sunday, January 19, 2014 at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw with Pastor Dennis Bollenbacher officiating. Private burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
Visitation will be from 1:00 ? 2:00 Sunday, January 19, 2014 at the funeral chapel.

Glen D. Evers. 91, of 2305 Old Road 30W, Warsaw, died at 6:55 a.m. Feb. 27. 2003, in Mason Health Care Facility, Warsaw.
He was born March 29, 1911, in Montpelier, Ohio, Warsaw, to Colson and Grace Evers. On Aug. 21, 1948, in Warsaw, he married Edna Thompson, who survives. .
Living in Warsaw since 1945, he retired as a mechanic at Howard Automotive, Warsaw, and was a member of First Presbyterian Church and American Legion Post 49, both of Warsaw. He was a World War II U.S. Army veteran, serving in the European Theater.
Also surviving are a daughter, Ruth Sand, Kendallville, and three grandchildren: Teresa Beltz, Troy, Ohio: Dr. David Sand, Fort Wayne: and Laura Harrison, Indianapolis. He was preceded in death by four sisters.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw, with Pastor Randy Murphy officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
