WARSAW, Ind., Sept. 6.—Miss Lorinda Thompson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C. H. Thompson, of South Washington street, became the bride of Rulo Minear, son of Mr. and Mrs. George Minear, of south of Warsaw, at a pretty wedding on Wednesday afternoon. The marriage rites were read at 3 o'clock by the Rev. W. M. Cleveland, of St. Louis, Mo., uncle of the bride. He was assisted in the double ring ceremony by Dr. Frank N. Palmer, pastor of the Presbyterian church of Warsaw. Mrs. Clifford C. Dubois, of Warsaw, played the wedding march, and Clara Thompson, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. Robert Minear, brother of the bridegroom was best man. Harriet Thompson was ring bearer, and Edna Alice Thompson was ring bearer, and Edna Alice Thompson and Virginia Ruggles stretched the ribbons for the bridal party. Mrs. Edith Lynch sang two selections. The newlyweds left for a trip to southern Ohio. They will reside in Warsaw. Out-of-town guests included the Rev. and Mrs. W. M. Cleveland, of St. Louis, Mo.; Mr. and Mrs. E. W. Cleveland, of College Corners, O.; Mr. and Mrs. Clifford M. Ruggles, of Plymouth; Mr. and Mrs. George Searles, of East Hampton, Mass., and Miss Louise Pennington, of Nashville, Tenn.

A well-known Warsaw woman, Mrs. Rulo (Lorinda) Minear, shown above, 52, died 2:52 p. m. Monday in the McDonald hospital of complications following major surgery.
Mrs. Minear, a native of this city, had been in the hospital only a week. She resided just west of this city on U. S. 30.
She was born in Warsaw Mar 26, 1904, the daughter of Herbert and Harriet (Cleaveland Thompson, On Sept. 5, 1923, she was married in Warsaw to Rulo Minear, who is well-know throughout this area as a plate-glass contractor.
Mrs. Minear was employed a a bookkeeper at the Zimmer Mfg. Co. in Warsaw. She was a member of the Warsaw Presbyterian church and past president of the Women's Missionary Society. She was a Sunday school teacher for 28 years, past regent of the D.A.R., member of the Progress club, West Side Mother's club, and American Legion auxiliary.
Surviving in addition to the husband are three sons, Bernard and Thomas, of Warsaw, and James, who is a senior at the Moody Bible Institute in Chicago; her father, Herbert Thompson, of Warsaw, three sister Mrs. A. C. E. Gillander, of Kokomo, Mrs. Herbert Kaufman, White Pigeon, Mich., and Mrs. Glen Evers, of Warsaw; two grandsons and two granddaughters. A brother and sister preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p. m. Wednesday at the Presbyterian church with Rev. Edward C. McCance officiating. Burial will he in Oakwood cemetery. Friends may call at the J. Bibler and Son funeral home until 11 a. m. Wednesday.
