Mrs. T. G. Thompson (Mary Elizabeth Taylor) died this morning at 2 o'clock at the home of her daghter, Mrs. Layton Myrick. Mrs. THompson had been in poor health all winter and had been in a very critical condition since last Tuesday. She is survived by her husband and three childen, W. H. Thompson of Warsaw, Ind., F. M. Thompson of Sedalia, Mo., and Mrs.Layton Myrick of this city.
The funeral will be held at the chapel of the First Presbyterian church Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Friends may call at the home,400 North Eleventh street on Tuesday afternoon and evening and the casket will be opened at the church.
Mary Elizabeth taylor was born in Preble county, O., near Elkhorn on November 3, 1834. She married Thomas George Thompson in September, 1852 and they came to Richmond the following January.
The couple celebrated their fifty-ninth wedding anniversary the sixth of last September. Mr. Thompson is over 80 years of age and his wife was three years rounger. Thre have been eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; all of whome but one grandchild and one great-grandchild are still living.
Mrs. Thompson had been a member of the First Presbyterian church here ever since she has lived here.

Mrs. W. H. McClung has been called to Richmond owing to the sudden death of her uncle, Thomas George Thompson, which occurred Tuesday at the home of his daughter in Richmond.
Mr. Thompson passed away Tuesday will sitting in a chair at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Layton Myrick. He was a very prominent man and was well known. Mr. Thompson was born in Staunton, Va., and went to Wayne county when but 5 years of age. The greater part of his seventy-five years had been spent in Richmond. A severe cold and bronchial trouble had kept him away from his office for a few days but during that time his condition was never regarded as serious, and he was never confined to his bed with the ailment. However, he had grown weaker each day and his heart failure is attributed to his extremely feeble condition. He survived his wife just one month to the day.
Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the First Presbyterian church in that city.
