More than a score of close friends and relatives attended the wedding of Miss Audrey Noyes, daughter of Mrs. Emma Noyes, N1017 Sherwood, and Paul E. Tobie of this city. The service was read at 10:30 o'clock yesterday morning at the home of the bride's mother by the Rev. Thomas W. Jeffrey.
The ceremony was read before a floral bower of gladioli, hydrangeas and ferns arranged before the fireplace. The bride wore a gown. She carried a shower bouquet of pink rose buds and white sweet peas. The couple were unattended.
Following the service, Mr. and Mrs. Tobie were honored at a reception and wedding breakfast.
Mr. and Mrs. Tobie left by motor soon after the reception for the Coast. They will visit in Vancouver, Portland and Seattle and will return to Spokane the first of next month and will make their home at the Kempis apartments.
Mrs. Tobie is a graduate of the Tekoa high school and of the St. Luke's training school for nurses. Mr. Tobie is a graduate of Lewis and Clark high school and of Whitman college. With the completion of his education at Whitman he obtained a scholarship to the University of Oregon where he took advance work and taught in the psychology department. He will be an instructor in the new Libby junior high school, teaching general science. He is a son of Mr. and Mrs. P. E. Tobie of Greenacres.

Memorial service for Audrey N. Tobie, 90, will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Ball & Dodd Funeral Home-South, preceded by interment in Pines Cemetery.
Mrs. Tobie, who died Tuesday at Unicrest, was born in Iowa and moved to the Tekoa area at a young age.
Before her marriage she worked as an obstetrics nurse, then became a homemaker. She was a member of Central United Methodist Church and St. Luke's Nurses Alumni Association.
Survivors include Paul G. Tobie of Gig Harbor, Wash.; one brother, Glen C. Noyes of Spokane; and two great-granddaughters. Her husband died earlier.
