Wallace-Ackerson Nuptials
A pretty wedding occurred at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph W. Wallace, six miles northeast of the city, at 2:00 o'clock, last Sunday afternoon, Oct. 14, when the daughter of the host and hostess, Miss Myrtle Esther Wallace, was united in marriage with Mr. Alvin C. Ackerson of Claremont, S. D. Rev. Vincent R. Beebe, pastor of the Tecumseh M E. church, was the officiating clergyman, and the service was witnessed by a small company of relatives and close friends. After the congratulations the company enjoyed a lunch. Mr. and Mrs. Ackerson left at once for Claremont, where they will establish their home upon the groom's farm.
The bride is one of the well known young ladies of her home community and is held in high esteem by her many friends. The groom is the son of Mrs. Della Beach of Elk Creek. He is highly spoken of as being a splendid young man and a good agriculturist. That prosperity may be the lot of Mr. and Mrs. Ackerson is the wish of all.
