Mr. Cecil Wells, of Oklahoma City, and Miss Nell Purviance, of Guthrie were married at Guthrie, Ok., Sunday, July 1, 1923. Mr. Wells is a 1922 graduate of Oklahoma Agriculturist and Mechanical college, and is an employe of the American Tank Co., of Oklahoma City. Mrs. Wells, who is a sister of Mrs. ALmira Abernathy, county home demonstration agent, was formerly a student of A. and M. She has taught two years at Crescent.

SAND SPRINGS — Services are schedule at 10:30 a.m. Friday in Firsts Presbyterian Church for Mrs. Cecil G. (Nellie I.) Wells, wife of a consultant and former executive vice president of National Tank Co.
She died Wednesday in a Tulsa hospital following an extended illness. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery directed by Mobley - Dodson - Lakeside Funeral Home.
Mrs. Wells, 73, moved to Sand Springs 16 years ago after a 30-year residence in Tulsa.
She was a charter member of Tulsa Garden Club and a member of First Presbyterian Church, Sand Springs.
Survivors, besides her husband, include two sons, James L. Wells, and Dr. C. G. Wells, Jr., and a daughter, Mrs. Nelda Lamb, all of Sand Springs; three brothers, including Raymond and Harold Purviance, and three sisters, Mrs. Laura Wicks and Maude Purviance, all of Guthrie, and Mrs. Pearl Miller, Oklahoma City; eight grandchildren, and a great-grandchild.
