He married MARY RIVES DEAN on December 31, 1913 in Harrisonburg Methodist Church, Rockingham County, Virginia,¹⁸¹⁷ daughter of MARTHA BOWER and WILLIAM DEAN. She was born February 17, 1892 in Rockingham County, Virginia, and died April 25, 1967 in Eastern State Hospital, Williamsburg, Virginia.⁵³³⁵ She is buried in Cape Charles Cemetery, Northampton County, Virginia.⁵³³⁵

One of the prettiest weddings of Christmas week took place in Harrisonburg Methodist Church at 2:30 o'clock Wednesday afternoon, when Miss Mary Rives Dean, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs William Dean, of Harrisburg, became the bride of Mr. Clayton Seabrook Willis, of Cape Charles, Va. The ceremony was performed by Rev. Harry M. Canter, D. D., pastor.

After the ceremony the couple left for a trip South, and after January 6, they will be "at home" at Pinehurst. Cape Charles, Va.
