PONTIAC.—Announcement was made here Wednesday of the marriage of Everette Knudsen, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Knudsen, to Ruth Keely, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Keely, New Haven, Conn. The wedding took place in Portchester, N. Y., Sept. 28. They will leave soon for their new home in Palm Beach, Fla.

Miss Ruth E. Gallagher, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. J. Gallagher, Cranesville, and Everett E. Knudsen, son of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Knudsen, Pontiac, Ill., were married Sunday at 12:30 P. M. in the Congregational Church at East Canaan, Conn., by the Rev. Charles Mesner. The attendants were Miss Joyce Dreaney and Harvey P. Gallagher, brother of the bride.

The bride wore a gown of light rose crepe with blue accessories and her corsage bouquet was composed of Sweetheart roses and a hybrid orchid. The bridesmaid was attired in blue crepe with white accessories and had a corsage of yellow roses and white sweet pears.

A dinner for the bridal party and relatives was served at Norfolk, Conn., following the ceremony, after which Mr. and Mrs. Knudsen left for a wedding trip to Keene, N. H.

The bride is a graduate of the School of Nursing of the Ellis Hospital, Schenectady, and is a member of the nursing staff of the Amsterdam City Hospital. Mr. Knudsen is employed in the local store of the S. S. Kreage Company.

Pre-nuptial parties were given for the bride by Mrs. Robert Hughes, Jr., Miss Ole M. Forsythe, Amsterdam, and Mrs. Edgar Beyer, Minaville. The bridegroom was guest of honor at a stag party given at McMinn's camp at Lake Galway.

Mrs. Knudsen Dies at 58

AMSTERDAM — Mrs. Ruth Gallagher Knudsen, 58, of Amsterdam RD 5 died yesterday at Glendridge Hospital after a short illness.

Mrs. Knudsen was a native of Amsterdam and had lived in that area all of her life. She was a registered nurse and had been employed at Memorial Hospital for several years. She was a member of the Cranesville Reformed Church.

Surviving are her husband, Everett E. Knudsen; four sons, Ronald, David, Bruce and Kevin Knudsen, all of Amsterdam; two brothers, Harvey Gallagher of Amsterdam and James E. Gallagher of Guilderland, and one grandchild.

The funeral service will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. tomorrow at the Funeral House of Johnson Lindsay by the Rev. Milford Decker, pastor of the Cranesville Reformed Church. Burial will be in Green Hill Cemetery. The funeral home will be open after 7 tonight.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Cancer Fund.
