She was born January 11, 1837 in New Ipswich, Hillsborough, New Hampshire,2363 and died August 3, 1871 in Spring Valley, Fillmore, Minnesota.1986 She is buried in Spring Valley Cemetery, Fillmore County, Minnesota.456

ALBERT M. ALDEN died March 7 at 22218 Ilion avenue N. Funeral Wednesday at 2 p. m. Interment private. He was born in Solon, N. Y., Oct. 24, 1838, and came to Dodge county, Minnesota. He engaged in business in Rochester, Spring Valley and Minneapolis. He was a Mason and a member of the First Congregational church. He is survived by his wife and the following children: Mrs. James T. Elwell, W. A. Alden, Mrs. George S. Grims, Mrs. W. W. Morse, Lyman S. Alden, Mrs. W. A. Wheeler, Ruth Alden, Catherine Alden and John Alden.

Died, in Minneapolis, March 7, 1904, after several week's sickness, Albert M. Alden, aged 65 years, 4 months, 13 days. He was born in Cortland county, N. Y., a direct descendant of the John Alden of the Mayflower. He came with his parents to Dodge county, Minn, in 18556 and about 1861 was married to Miss Lizzie Shedd, daughter of "Father Shedd," so well known to old settlers. For many years he lived on the farm two miles east of Dodge Center afterward owned by Claus Mohr. For some years he lived in Minneapolis. He was honored and respected as a christian gentleman and in the church, the Masonic lodge, with his business associates and especially in his family his memory will be held dear. His first wife died many years ago and his second survives him. Also nine children, four sisters, and two brothers. Charles Alden, the blind man, is a brother of the deceased and M. A. Doran of this village is a cousin.
