Cards have been received in Sioux Falls announcing the marriage at Flandreau on October 1, of Mr. E. O. Bailey, formerly of Sioux Falls, but now of Chicago, and Miss May Coons, for the past four years a resident of this city. The ceremony was performed at the home of the bride's parents before a limited number of friends and relatives. After an extended wedding trip, Mr. and Mrs. Bailey will be at home at Jefferson, Ia., where Mr. Bailey has a position with the Milwaukee railroad.
The groom was for a number of years in the employ of the Milwaukee railroad company in Sioux Falls and has a large circle of acquaintances in this city. The bride while making Sioux Falls her home was connected with the local telephone exchange. Their many friends in Sioux Falls join in wishing them many happy and prosperous years.

Word was received this morning of the death of Emery A. (Bill) Bailey at Flandreau. Mr. Bailey fell down a flight of stairs about 7 o'clock Thursday evening and had not been conscious since. He died at 4 o'clock this morning. He was 50 years old last October and is survived by his father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. W. W. Bailey, and a brother, Roy W. Bailey, county treasurer at Flandreau. Mr. Bailey was born in Monroe, Green county, Wisconsin.
Mr. Bailey was well known here, having been located in Sioux Falls for a number of years. He was at one time ticket agent for the Milwaukee railroad here and was also connected with the Rock Island road. He left Sioux Falls some time ago and located at Egan. From there he went to Flandreau about six years ago where he has been in the garage business since.
Mr. Bailey was a member of the Masonic bodies here and of the Eastern Star at Flandreau. Funeral services will be held under the direction of the Masonic bodies at Flandreau Monday afternoon.
