ACUTE INDIGESTION HAS FATAL RESULT

Serentus Bedient Passes Away at Little Valley Home at age of 64 Years

Serentus W. Bedient died at his home in Fair Oak street, Little Valley, lastnight at the age of 64 years, of acute indigestion, his illness lasting less than one hour.

He was a business man well known in Little Valley and had for the last year been foreman of town and county roads in Otto.

He was born March 15, 1857, in the town of Mansfield, and was the youngest of six children. He was a brother of the late Dr. Bedient of Little Valley.

Deceased leaves his widow, Mrs. Ida Hall Bedient, and three children, Harry H., of Buffalo, Orville W. of Little Valley and Mrs. Charlie B. Ford of Little Valley.

MRS. IDA BEDIENT DIES AT AGE OF 79

The funeral of Mrs. Ida Bedient, widow of S. W. Bedient of Little Valley, who died at her home at the age of 79, was held Thursday at 2 o'clock from the home, with burial at Little Valley.

Mrs. Bedient, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Marcus Hall, formerly was prominent in woman suffrage work, the W. C. T. U. and Republican politics. She had lived in Little Valley and Mansfield all her life. Her husband was a meat market owner and farmer.

Surviving are three children, Harry of Buffalo, Mrs. Carlisle Ford of Little Valley and Orville of Scio, and several grandchildren.
