BISHOP—Webster Bishop, 1547 Las Lunas Street, passed away Sept. 5, 1947. He was born in Dubuque, Ia., April 6, 1864. A large part of his life was spent in Des Moines were he engaged in the wholesale hardware business. Here he married Miss Wrighta Ford and to them were born four children, all living. They are, Edith Bishop Sherman of South Orange, N. J., Richard E. Bishop of New York, Edmund M. Bishop of Chicago and Webster Bishop, Jr., of Kansas City. There are 11 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Fifteen years ago Mr. Bishop came to Pasadena and was married to Miss Blanche Scott who survives him. Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 p. m. at the chapel of Turner & Stevens Co., Marengo Avenue at Holly Street, Dr. B. D. Snudden officiating.

BISHOP — Mrs. Blanche Scott Bishop of 1547 Las Lunas Street, passed away April 27, 1951. A native of Winchester, Ind., she had been a resident of California since 1921, and was a member of the First Methodist Church and Chapter F., P.E.O. She is survived by her brother, H. L. Scott of Los Angeles; one step-daughter, Mrs. John Sherman of South Orange, N. J.; three step-sons, Richard Bishop of New York City, Edmund Bishop of Chicago, Webster Bishop of Kansas City; two nephews, John L. Scott of Los Angeles, Thomas S. Risser of Lincoln, Neb.; three nieces, Miss Mildred Wellborn, Mrs. Maida Roether, both of Pasadena, and Mrs. C. R. Rhodes of Fayetteville, Ark. Services 3 p.m., Monday at the chapel of Turner & Stevens Co., Dr. B. Dudley Snudden officiating.
