A pretty home wedding was solemnized Monday afternoon, July 5, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. J. L. Hunt on Brattleboro avenue when Miss Ella Taylor of Swan, Ia., became the bride of W. D. Scott of Prairie City, Ia. The home was beautifully decorated with ferns, sweet peas and roses. Just before the ceremony Miss Mabel Fees sang "I Love You Truly." As the bridal party came down the stairs and entered the parlors, Misses Olive and Katherine Snook played Mendelssohn's wedding march on the piano and violin. The impressive ceremony was conducted by the Rev. C. S. Medbury. After congratulations, dainty refreshments were served in the dining room. The bride wore a beautiful Paris gown of white crepe de chine arranged over silk and carried a shower bouquet of bride's roses. Among the out of town guests were Mrs. N. J. Taylor, the bride's mother, of Swan, Ia.; Misses Dell and Blanche Scott, sisters of the groom, and Mrs. Edgar Winters of Redfield, Ia.; Mr. and Mrs. Howard Taylor of Oskaloosa, Ia., Mrs. Elizabeth Taylor, Mr. and Mrs. T. C. Taylor, mr. Will Taylor, Miss Katherine Herrold, Miss Mabel Fees, Mr. and Mrs. Williams Andrews and Mr. Harry Andrews of Granger, Ia., Miss Willoughby Guenther of Sioux City, Ia., Mrs. M. M. Mrs. Ella Scott Dies in Redfield; Rites to Be Here

(Register's Special Iowa News Service.)

REDFIELD— Mrs. Ella Taylor Scott, wife of the president of the Redfield Savings bank, died Monday evening. She was 57.

Funeral services are to be held at Hamilton and Power's funeral home in Des Moines at 2 p. m. Wednesday. Burial will be in Rising Sun cemetery.

Mrs. Scott was a sister of Warren Taylor, assistant chief of the Des Moines fire department, who died last September. She was a member of the Christian church, the Redfield Women's club and a life member of the W. C. T. U.

Surviving are her husband, W. D. Scott, and one son, Morris.
