Mrs. George Boyer

Mrs. Edna M. Boyer, 81, wife of George S. Boyer, 1120 Broadway, died Sunday morning at the Bolden Age nursing home. She was a daughter of the late Ephraim and Mary Gulden Bollinger and was a member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church. Surviving are her husband, two son, Raymond E. Boyer, Glen Rock R.D. 1, and George G. Boyer, 400 Broadway, and three grandchildren. The funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Wetzel funeral home, Carlisle Street, with the Rev. Clifford Miller, associate pastor of St. Matthew, officiating. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home tomorrow evening.

George S. Boyer

HANOVER — George S. Boyer, 99, of Hanover Hall, formerly of 1120 Broadway, died Thursday, Dec. 29, 1988 at Hanover Hall.

Born Dec. 31, 1888, in Jackson Township, York County, he was the son of the late George and Kathryn Stambaugh Boyer. He was the husband of the late Edna Bollinger Boyer.

He was a member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church and retired in 1955 from Diller Wierman Plumbing and Heating.

Surviving is a son, George G. Boyer of Hanover; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a sister, Margie Sullivan of Hanover Hall.

The funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday at Wetzel Funeral Home, 549 Carlisle St. The viewing will be one hour prior to the service on Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery. His pastor, the Rev. Eric P. Wogen, will officiate.
