At the home of the bride's parents last evening in the presence of about 75 guests were married Miss Rosa Haley and Mr. Elmer Carkhuff of Mont Rose, Colorado, Rev. W. C. Coleman officiating. Preceding the ceremony Fern Ramsey sang "Rose of My Life;" Miss Edith Cormack played Lohengrin's wedding march. Miss Harriet Shockey carried the ring. Following the ceremony came a bounteous wedding supper and the well deserved congratulations. Many beautiful presents were received. The bride is one of Abilene's sweetest girls and has been prominent in church circles. The groom was formerly of this city but is now a prosperous farmer and businessman of Mont Rose where they will reside.
