Bruce Chilcote, Colton

Bruce Chilcote, 70, a 30-year resident of Colton, died Tuesday in San Bernardino. He was a native of McCloud, Okla.

Chilcote was a newspaper distributor for the Sun Company before retiring and was a veteran of World War II.

Survivors include two brothers, William of San Bernardino, and Ernest of Ventura; two sisters, M. Lucille Hubbs of Colton, and Gwendolyn Hubbs of Rialto.

Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in Montecito Memorial Park. Knopsnyder Chapel is in charge of arrangements and friends may call there from 5 to 8 p.m. today.
