WILLIAM OWEN CHILCOTE, son of LILLIE OLIVE BATT and LOGAN AUGUSTUS CHILCOTE, was born July 27, 1911 in McLoud, Pottawatomie, Oklahoma,⁷³⁷⁷ and died November 28, 1995 in San Bernardino County, California.²⁵⁰

He married MARIAN ELIZABETH NEWMAN on March 12, 1934 in Yuma, Yuma, Arizona.⁷⁰⁹⁶ She was born July 28, 1914,⁴⁵⁶ and died February 18, 2000.⁴⁵⁶

Marian Elizabeth Newman Bride of Warren O. Chilcote

ANNOUNCEMENT of the marriage of Miss Marian Elizabeth Newman and Warren Owen Chilcote will be of interest to a wide circle of friends and acquaintances. The wedding took place at Yuma, Ariz., Monday, March 12, and climaxes a romance of more than four years' standing, having begun when the young people were students at San Bernardino high school.

For the ceremony the bride wore a smart spring suit of Chartreuse, with accessories of black.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gale Newman and is one of the well known Newman sisters, talented musicians. She was graduated from high school in the spring class of 1932.

Mr. Chilcote is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Logan Chilcote, prominent residents of San Bernardino. He was graduated from high school in 1930, later attended the state agricultural college at Davis and is a member of Phi Alpha Iota fraternity.

Mr. and Mrs. Chilcote are residing for the present at Twenty-nine Palms, where the former is employed with the Goldfields of America, Ltd.
