Retired Hubbs Co. Employee Succumbs

Logan A. Chilcote, 70, a retired truckdriver for the Hubbs Trucking Co., succumbed last night at Loma Linda hospital.

The deceased, a native of Arkansas, resided at 930 Terrace Ave. He was a resident of San Bernardino county and California 37 years.

Survivors include his wife, Lillie O. Chilcote of Colton, two daughters, Mrs. Lucille Hubbs and Mrs. Gwendolyn Hubbs, both of Colton; three sons, Bruce A. Chilcote, William O. Chilcote, both of Colton and Ernest E. Chilcote of Manhattan Beach; two sisters, eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday at 10 a.m. at Knopsnyder's funeral chapel. Interment will follow at Montecito Memorial Park.

Services for Logan A. Chilcote will be held at 10 a.m. today at Knopsnyder's Mortuary in Colton. Interment will be in Montecito Memorial Park. A native of Arkansas, Chilcote, 70, had been a resident of the San Bernardino-Colton area for the past 37 years. He died Tuesday at Loma Linda Hospital.

Lillie O. Chilcote, Rialto

Lillie Olive Chilcote, 88, of Rialto died Monday in a San Bernardino hospital. She was born in Illinois.

She was a homemaker.

Survivors include three sons, Bruce A. of Rialto, William of San Bernardino and Ernest E. of Ventura; two daughters, M. Lucille Hubbs of Colton and Gwendolyn Hubbs of Rialto, two brothers, three sisters, eight grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

Graveside services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Friday in Montecito Memorial Park. Friends my call from 1 to 8 p.m. today in Knopsnyder Chapel.
