At the home of the bride's parents, Wednesday evening, October 28, Miss Etta May Shepard was united in marriage to Mr. Vern O. Clark, Rev. Wilson Denney officiating. THe house was beautifully decorated with smilax, carnations and chrysanthemums, the ceremony being performed beneath a canopy of flowers. The bride was attired in white silk and carried white roses. The fifty guests, relatives of the contracting parties after extending congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Clark, were served with an elaborate wedding supper. The evening was delightfully spent, and all expressed the hope that the years as they come and go would be full of happiness and success for Mr. and Mrs. Clark. Their home will be in Ashland during the winter and we hope after that their residence will continue with us where they are so favorably known.
