GLEN ROCK — William C. Thoman, 67, husband of Edna Gibbons Thoman, Glen Rock RD 2, died at 11:50 p.m. Friday at York Hospital. He was a son of the late Jacob L. and Annie Sterner Thoman.
Mr. Thomas was a farmer, and was last employed as a dock worker by Consolidated Freightways, York where he retired two years ago. He resided in the Niemans area, and was a member of Bethlehem United Methodist Church, Jefferson, and the Glen Rock and Jefferson Fire companies.
Surviving besides his widow are five children, Mrs. Grace V. Riebling, Brodbeck; Charles Andrews Thoman, Spring Grove; Donald J. and Anna Marie Thoman, both of York, and Larry E. Thoman, Spring Grove; 13 grandchildren; three brothers, Harry R. Thoman, Lemoyne; Ralph A. Thoman, Dover RD 2, and Earl S. Thoman, Railroad, and two sisters, Mrs. Harry Hendrix, Shrewsbury, and Leo Hartlaub, Brodbeck.
The Rev. Donald Mummert will officiate at funeral services Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Geiple Funeral Home, Glen Rock. Interment will be in St. Jacob's (Stone) Church Cemetery.

Edna G. Thoman of Brodbeck RD2, formerly of York, died at 3:40 p.m. July 4 at York Hospital. She was 91.
Mrs. Thoman and her husband had farmed for many years in the Brodbecks area.
She was a member of St. Paul's Evangelical Congregational Church.
She was a member of Manor Baptist Tuesday Group.
Born in Manheim Township Aug. 16, 1907, she was a daughter of the late Joseph F. and Mary E. Boyer Gibbons. She was the wife of the late William C. Thoman.
She leaves two daughters, Grace V. Reibling of Brodbecks RD1 and Anna M. Thoman of Fort Wayne, Ind.; two sons, Donald J. Thoman of York and Larry E. Thoman Sr. of Spring Grove RD7; 13 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; a brother, John Gibbons of Abbottstown, Adams County.
A son, Charles A. "Andy" Thoman, is deceased. Viewing is from 7 to 9 p.m. today at Geiple Funeral Home Inc., 53 Main St., Glen Rock. The service is at 11 a.m. tomorrow at the funeral home with her pastor, the Rev. Alfred W. Miller, officiating.
Burial will be in St. Jacob's (Stone) Church Cemetery, Glenville.
