Grace S. Gibbons, 82, of 267 Frederick St., Hanover, formerly of Black Rock Road, Hanover, died Monday, Dec. 29, in Hanover Hospital.
Born Aug. 15, 1915 in Manchester, Md., she was a daughter of the late Albert H. and Martha Baumgardner Mancha. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, John A. Gibbons of New Oxford.
She was a member of St. Paul's (Dubs) United Church of Christ and the Irvin Rill and Leroy Fisher Sunday school classes. She was a quilter with the ladies of the church.
Surviving in addition to her husband are four sons, John H. Gibbons of York, James E. Gibbons of Brodbecks, Dean A. gibbons of Hanover, and Jesse L. Gibbons of Abbottstown; one daughter, Nancy A. Hahn of Brodbecks; 15 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; 11 ste-great-grandchildren; two brothers, Charles Mancha of Manchester, and Robert Mancha of Hanover; and two sisters, Treva Bowman and Doris Smith, both of Manchester.
She was predeceased by a granddaughter, Janet Gibbons, in 1969.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, Jan. 2, in St. Paul's (Dubs) Church, R. 10, Hanover, with the Rev. Philip K. Nace officiating. Interment will be in St. Paul's (Dubs) Cemetery, Hanover.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. until the time of services on Friday in the church.

John A. Gibbons, 89, of Hanover, died Thursday, April 12, 2001, at Hanover Hall. He was the husband of Grace (Mancha) Gibbons, who died Dec. 29, 1997.
Born March 22, 1912 in Manheim Township, York County, he was the son of the late Joseph and Mary Estell (Boyer) Gibbons.
He was a member of St. Paul's Dubs United Church of Christ in Hanover. He was employed with Geis Sawmill in Arcadia, Md., prior to working for the Manheim Township Public Works Department. He was also a farmer in Manheim Township for many years prior to retiring.
Surviving are four sons, John H. Gibbons of York, James E. Gibbons of Glenville, Dean A. Gibbons of Hanover, and Jesse L. GIbbons of Abbottstown; one daughter, Nancy A. Hahn of Glenville; 15 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, eight stepgrandchildren and 11 stepgreat-grandchildren.
The service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Paul's Dubs Church with the Rev. Mark Stewart officiating. Burial will be in St. Paul's Dubs Cemetery. A viewing will be held Monday at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of service.
Serving as pallbearers will be Robert Lescalleet, Dave Utermahien, Brock Oaster, Daniel Wonder Jr., Richard Wonder and Roger Wonder.
