FANNIE M., daughter of George S. and Ruth A. Lowry, was born in Knightstown, Ind., November 11, 1858, and passed peacefully away to the everlasting rest of the redeemed, February 15, 1881.—FANNIE was the subject of prolonged affliction, but a patient and even cheerful sufferer through it all. From very childhood she was fond of the Sabbath School, and no ordinary interest was sufficient to divert her from enjoying its privileges, and often went when to her friends and the family it seemed much more fitting for her to have gone to bed. When disease had so far gained upon her strength that she felt compelled to remain away, she said: "this is the first time I have missed the Sunday School for five years." FANNIE was an open frank young lady, always expressing her feelings and convictions very directly, and in few words. She united with the Church in 1874, but did not make a profession of saving faith until two or three years afterwards. Her experience was clear, her trust in Christ complete, and her end peace.
