Frank Weaver returned last week from Phillipsburg, Kansas where he was called by the illness and death of his stister, Mrs. Clarence W. Morgan. Frank says the wheat crop there last year was good and the considerable of the corn has not yet been shocked because of bad weather. The prospects this year for another big crop are excellent. This was Frank's first trip hom in 21 years and while he thinks that country a good place to live in, he likes Great Bend much better.
