After patiently suffering for years from paralysis, the wife of W. L. Morgan of this city died last Sunday evening, ready and willing to answer the call. The writer has always had a great deal of sympathy for anyone afflicted in the manner as this good woman and can only think that death is surely a relief.
Anna M. Houston was born at Denmark, Iowa, March 27, 1894, and received her education in the Denmark academy. At the age of 11 years she became a member of the Congregational church at that place, but since coming to Phillipsburg has been a member of the Presbyterian church, and it was from this church the funeral was conducted Tuesday, attended quite largely by sympathizing friends and family.
