Marriage Announcements and News

Phillipsburg Dispatch, May 23, 19078027

Morgan—Hickman

On Wednesday, May 22, 1907, at high noon, at the home of the bride's parents, Dr. E. L. Morgan was united in marriage to Miss Bertha M. Hickman.

To the sound of a wedding march played by Mrs. E. F. Judson, the happy couple standing beneath an arch of roses, carnations and evergreen, Rev. E. D. Jedson pronounced a simple and beautiful wedding service that made them man and wife.

Only immediate relatives were present.

Dr. E. L. Morgan is well and favorably known, both as a gentleman and a physician, and the bride is one of Phillipsburg's most highly esteemed young ladies.

Dr. and Mrs. Morgan will be at home, in their new cottage in the east part of town about June 1st.

After the marriage ceremony, a sumptuous wedding dinner was served to the guests assembled, who numbered about twenty-five persons.

These young people have the best wishes of the entire community.
