Lora was the fourth of ten children, four boys, and six girls. She married Troy Mosier on March 22, 1940 at the preacher’s home in Chickasha, OK. Together, they had six children, four boys and two girls. They lived in Stillwater, Amber, Moore, and finally settled in Sperry in December of 1951.Shortly afterward, Lora joined the First Baptist Church in Sperry of which she was still a member until her passing. She loved the Lord and gladly served him throughout her lifetime as a Sunday school and Training Union teacher, participated in the choir, GA’s and WMU. Lora was a devoted wife and mother, serving on the PTA and being involved in her children’s school activities. She made many trips to Falls Creek as a cook, always helping with VBS, going on senior trips with her children, and opening her home for school and church activities. Lora was constantly crafting, quilting, sewing, beading, and playing the piano. Her hands were never idle. In October of 1971, she lost the love of her life, her husband Troy.
