A wedding of great interest was that of Mr. Myrle Mosier and Miss Ruth Winkler of West Meeker, which took place Thursday afternoon at the home of Rev. and Mrs. Pearl Mason, with Mr. Mason performing the ceremony in the presence of the bride's sister, Miss Lora Winkler, and the groom's sister, Mrs. Bill Peters, and brother, Carl Mosier, and Miss Lona Flowers. After the wedding the bride and groom and their attendants. Miss Winkler, Miss Flowers and Carl Mosier, had supper at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Tom Winkler. In the evening the young people assembled and after playing games on the lawn were treated to the usual candy and cigars. Both of the young people are graduates of Meeker high. The bride was prominent in the 4-H club work and the groom belonged to the Meeker high basket ball and baseball teams. Mr. and Mrs. Mosier will make their home for the present, with the former's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jeff Mosier.
