The wedding of Miss Cora A. Bruns of Fairfield, and Mr. Wesley C. Pierce, of Muncie, was solemnized at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Bruns, of Fairfield, Tuesday at high noon. The wedding was a quiet one, as only the near relatives of the young people were present. Rev. Harry N. Wilson, pastor of the First Presbyterian church here, performed the ceremony. A wedding luncheon was served after the ceremony. Mr. and Mrs. Pierce arrived here from Fairfield last Tuesday evening and went to the home of the groom's sister, Mrs. Freeman, 318 South Cherry street. They were not supposed to arrive in Muncie until some time today, but several of their friends found out that they were in the city and made up a charivari party. About 9:30 o'clock they went to the Freeman residence with cow bells and other noise producers and kept up a continual racket until Mr. Pierce appeared.
After July 11 Mr. and Mrs. Pierce will be at home to their friends on Proud street. Mr. Pierce is foreman in the composing room of the Evening Times.
