Mrs. J. E. Stambaugh

Mrs. Mary Alice Stambaugh, wife of John E. Stambuagh, died Saturday night at 11:45 o'clock at her home, 438 West Louther Street.

Mrs. Stambaugh was the daughter of the late John and Saraha Cameron, and was a member of the First Lutheran Church.

In addition to her husband she is survived by three nieces and a nephew.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock from the home, with Rev. Dr. A. R. Steck officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Zion cemetery, near Churchtown. Friends may call at the home Tuesday evening from 7 until 9 o'clock.

John A. Stambaugh

John A. Stambaugh, who formerly conducted a men's furnished store here, died last night at the home of his niece, Mrs. Philip Wise, Craighead, after a lingering illness. He was aged 75 years.

Mr. Stambaugh conducted a men's hat and furnishing store at High and Pitt streets for 25 years, retiring in 1919. He was the son of the late Daniel and Sarah Plank Stambaugh and was a member of First Lutheran Church and the Carlisle Royal Arcanum Lodge.

He is survived by a sister, Miss Lura Stambaugh, Carlisle, and several nieces and nephews. He resides with Mrs. Wise.

Services will be held at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon at the J. R. Shelenberger funeral home. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery. Rev. Dr. Harry L. Saul will officiate. Friends may call Tuesday night at the funeral home.
