Grundy Center — Announcement has been made of the marriage of Lawrence J. Stambaugh, Grundy Center, and Mrs. Avis Missman, Cedar Rapids. THe ceremony took place on Aug. 23 at Hampton, with Rev. W. Glenn Rowley, a cousin of the bride, officiating. They were accompanied by Mrs. Ed Pallman, a daughter of the groom. The couple will make its home on Mr. Stambaugh's farm southeast of Grundy Center.

GRUNDY CENTER—Services for Mrs. Avis Stambaugh, 85, of North Glenn, Colo., formerly of Grundy Center, who died Thursday at St. Anthony's Hospital, Westminister, Colo., will be 2 p.m. Monday at Engelkes—Abels Funeral Home, Grundy Center; burial at Rose Hill Cemetery, Grundy Center; survivors include a son, Barton O. Simpson of Tucson, Ariz.; a daughter, Mrs. Golda Aden of Aurora, Colo.; three step=daughters, Mrs. Alice Renick of Oak Grove, Mo., Mrs. Ruth Jesmore of Vista, Calif., and Mrs. Joy Pallman of Grundy Center; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; friends may call 1 to 9 p.m. Sunday, and 9 a.m. to service time Monday at the funeral home.
