Dallas Rites Set Tuesday For Tobler

MONMOUTH (Special)—Funeral services will be held Tuesday at Dallas for John Urich Tobler, 451 S. Warren St., Monmouth, who died at his home Wednesday. He was 83.

Born Oct. 25, 1876, in Spiecher, Switzerland, he had lived here three and a half years, living before that in the Oak Grove area, at Burnt Woods, Ore., and in New Mexico and the Middle West.

He was a retired farmer and a Spanish-American War veteran.

Survivors include his widow, Eleanor, wo whom he was married April 8, 1901, in Wisconsin; sons, Ulrich W., Tulsa, Okla.; Ralph S., Pearl City, Ill.; Rex A., San Francisco, Calif.; daughter Mrs. Walter M. Earhart, Monmouth; 20 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Bollman Funeral Home in Dallas, Roy Baxter of the Jehovah's Witnesses church officiating.
