FREDERICK J. WOODARD

GROVELAND, Fla. — Frederick J. Woodard, 61, a former resident of Bradford, Pa., died Thursday (Aug. 23, 1979) in Cuba Memorial Hospital, Cuba, N.Y., shortly after being admitted.

Born Dec. 7, 1917, in Little Valley, N.Y., he was a son of George and Hazel Sprague Woodard. On June 15, 1946, he married the former Barbara Senear, who survives.

He was a graduate of Little Valley High School, class of 1935; and a veteran of World War II, having served with the Army.

Mr. Woodard had been employed by Dresser Manufacturing Division, from 1946 until 1971, at which time he retired due to ill health.

He was a member of the Derrick City First United Methodist Church, and John F. Kennedy Machinist Union.

Surviving besides his widow are two daughters, Bernetta Woodard of Mount Jewett, Pa., and Debbie Woodard of Bradford; a brother, George Woodard of Duncanville, Texas; a sister, Genevieve Robertson of Cuba; and several nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received at the Koch-Chatley Memorial Chapel Inc., 20 School St., Bradford, Sunday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. where funeral services will be held, Monday (Aug. 27, 1979) at 1:30 p.m. The Rev. Claude Groters, pastor of Derrick City Methodist Church, will officiate. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
