LEE HALL WOODARD, son of HAZEL LYDIA SPRAGUE and GEORGE BENJAMIN FRANKLIN WOODARD, was born June 2, 1915 in Little Valley, Cattaraugus, New York,⁷³⁹³ and died June 3, 1976 in Olean General Hospital, Cattaraugus County, New York.⁷³⁹³ He is buried in Saint Bonaventure Cemetery, Allegany, Cattaraugus, New York.^{7393, 456}

He married JEAN TURNER on July 27, 1957 in Derrick City, McKean, Pennsylvania.⁷³⁹³ She was born in 1928,⁴⁵⁶ and died in 1992.⁴⁵⁶ She is buried in Saint Bonaventure Cemetery, Allegany, Cattaraugus, New York.⁴⁵⁶

LEE H. WOODARD

Lee H. Woodard of 457 E. Spring St., Olean, died Thursday (June 3, 1976) at the Olean General Hospital shortly after being admitted and following an extended illness.

Born in Little Valley, June 2, 1915, he was a son of George and Hazel Sprague Woodard. On July 27, 1957, at Derrick City, Pa., he married the former Jean Turner, who survives.

A resident of Olean for the past 40 years, Mr. Woodard had been employed by Dresser Industries for 33 years and by AVX Ceramics for three years, retiring because of ill health.

He was a veteran of World War II, serving as S. Sgt. in the Army Air Corps.

Mr. Woodard was a member of the Olean Men's Bowling Association and was an outstanding area bowler. He was a former member and past junior governor of the Loyal Order of Moose, Lodge 119; a former member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Lodge 516; and a former member of the VFW.

Surviving, in addition to his widow, are a sister, Mrs. Harold (Genevieve) Robertson of Cuba; two brothers, Fred Woodard of Bradford and George Woodard of Duncanville, Texas; and several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the Guenther Funeral Home Inc., 1303 E. State St., Olean, today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Saturday (June 5, 1976) from 11:30 a.m. until service time at 1:30 p.m. The Rev. William E. Geiser, pastor of Christ United Methodist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in St. Bonaventure Cemetery, Allegany.
