After Aug. 20, they will make their home in Bluefield, W. Va.

MRS. EARL C. BAKER

BROWNSBURG — Mrs. Dorothy (Whipple0 Baker, 66, died Thursday (Feb. 5, 1970) in a Staunton hospital.

She was born in Brownsburg April 24, 1903, a daughter of David J. and Eleanor (Ervine) Whipple.

She was a member of Rockville Center Presbyterian Church in Rockville Center, N. Y.

She is survived by her husband, Earl C. Baker; one son, Ralph E. Baker of Rochester, N. Y.; three brothers, D. W. Whipple of Raphine, Douglas Whipple of Fairfield and Fred Whipple of Brownsburg and three grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held 3 p.m. Sunday in New Providence Presbyterian Church Cemetery at Brownsburg conducted by the Rev. David Coblentz.

The body is at the Harrison Funeral Home.

EARL CARTER BAKER

BROWNSBURG — Earl Carter Baker, 82, died at his residence here Tuesday (Nov. 29, 1983).

He was born in Boston, Mass., Aug. 29, 1901, son of Frederick H. and Edith (Carter) Baker. He was a retired sales manager for Thermos Co., a member of Brownsburg Ruritan Club, Lexington Country Club and was active in local civic affairs.

He is survived by his widow, Marjorie H. Baker; one son, Ralph E. Baker of Sumter, S.C.; three grandchildren; two stepgrandsons, and one stepgranddaughter.

A service will be conducted 11 a.m. Thursday, in New Providence Presbyterian Church by the Rev. Thomas H. Biggs and Dr. G.P. Whiteley. Harrison Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
