She was born August 29, 1887 in Saline County, Missouri,11055 and died December 4, 1962 in Kansas City, Jackson, Missouri.706 She is buried in Union Cemetery, Malta Bend, Saline, Missouri.456

Mr. Floyd F. Gauldin and Miss Helen Dyer were married on Saturday, December 23 at the home of the bride's mother, Mrs. Belle Dyer, five miles west of Marshall. Rev. W. F. Price, pastor of Saline Presbyterian church, said the ceremony.
The bride is a splendid young woman, of fine, wholesome character and amiable and sweet disposition. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Gauldin and is a young man of worth and integrity. He is a farmer and the newly married couple will probably make their home in the county west of Marshall.
Immediately after the ceremony, the bride and groom went to Kansas City for a few days and upon their return were the guests of Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Grube south of town for a few days, after which they returned to the home of the groom, where they will be for the present.

Funeral services for Mrs. Floyd Gauldin, age 75, route 3, Marshall, who passed away Tuesday in Kansas City, were held at 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon in the First Presbyterian church. Rev. William Bensberg, pastor, officiated, and burial was in the Union cemetery northwest of Marshall.
Helen Palmore Gauldin was born August 29, 1887, in Saline County, Mo., the daughter of Israel Grant and Bell Palmore Irvine Dyer. She was married December 23, 1916, at the home of her parents, to Floyd F. Gauldin who survives.
Mrs. Gauldin was a member of the First Presbyterian church. She had lived on a farm west of Marshall her entire married life and was a member of the Homemakers club. She had been in failing health for the last three years.
Surviving besides the husband of the home, are two brothers and to sisters, F. L. Dyer of Malta Bend, Emmett P. Dyer of Fairfax, Va., Mrs. Lawrence Winslow and Mrs. E. W. Tanner of Marshall. She was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister.
