She was born August 1, 1850 in Missouri,706 and died October 25, 1927 in Marshall, Saline, Missouri.706 She is buried in Ridge Park Cemetery, Marshall, Saline, Missouri.456

I. G. Dyer, one of Saline's prominent old citizens, died at his home west of town Monday morning, March 8th, after a year of failing health, aged nearly 73 years. Mr. Dyer came to Saline from Calloway county in 1868 and had lived in this locality ever since.
He is survived by his widow, to whom he was married in 1870, and by nine children, all of whom reside in Saline. They are Misses Nellie, Helen and Emily, John, H. E., P. T., Leslie and Dr. R. H.; Mrs. H. L. Winslow.
Mr. Dyer was an old and faithful member of the Saline Presbyterian church and he will be greatly missed by that congregation.
Funeral services were held at the residence Wednesday at 10 a. m. after which the remains were taken to Ridge Park cemetery for burial.

Mrs. Bell P. Dyer died Tuesday evening, October 25 at 8 o'clock at the home of her daughter, Mrs. James Kiser, northwest of Marshall after a long illness.
Mrs. Dyer was born August 1, 1850 at the old Irvine homestead near Fairvillew here. Her parents, James Houston Irvine and Elizabeth Clark Irvine settled when they came from Virginia in 1837, one year after their marriage.
She united at an early age with the Mt. Carmel Methodist church which building was erected the year she was born; but she later joined the Saline Presbyterian church with her husband.
Deceased was married to Israel Grant Dyer August 17, 1870 and twelve children were born to this union, nine of whom survive. They are Warren Irvine Dyer who died at the age of eighteen, Mrs. Laurence Winslow John Houston Dyer, Mrs. James Kiser with whom she lived, Ernest B., Roy H., Emmett P., Frank Leslie, Mrs. Floyd Gauldin and Mrs. E. W. Tanner. Two other children died in infancy.
All of her children were with her during her last illness except Dr. R. H. Dyer of Sheridan, Mon., who has paid her two visits during the year of her invalidism and was unable to come at this time. She also leaves one brother, Robert R. Irvine of Marshall, Mo.
Funeral services, conducted by the Rev. Thomas Barbee will be from Saline Church Thursday at 2 p. m and burial at Ridge Park Cemetery.

MARSHALL, Mo., Feb. 8.—Warren Dyer was hunting on his father's farm west of here yesterday evening with some companions and in endeavoring to pull his gun over a hedge by the muzzle it was discharged, the load striking him just below the heart. He cried out "I am shot," and fell and died instantly. He was a son of Israel Dyer, a prominent farmer, and a student at the Missouri Valley college here, where he was taking a prepatory course toward studying for the ministry.
