Samuel H. Hoke, son of Mr. and Mrs. George H. Hoke, and Miss Marie Virginia Zarfoss, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Zarfoss, both of Nashville, were married Thursday at the home of the bride's parents in the presence of members of the immediate families. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Frederick S. Geesey, pastor of the Muhlesburg Lutheran charge.

Mrs. Marie V. Hoke, 69, wife of Samuel H. Hoke, 152 Lafayette street, died yesterday at 11:10 a.m., at York Hospital where she was a patient two weeks.
A native of Nashville, York county, Mrs. Hoke was the daughter of the late Harry and Emma Gross Zarfoss. She belonged to Zion United Church of Christ and its Sunday school's Zion's Daughters' Class. Mrs. Hoke held membership in the Opti-Mrs. Club of York and then York chapter of the American Association of Retired Persons.
Also surviving are: Three sons, Donald G> Hoke, 187 Reynolds Mill road; Gail H. Hoke, Norristown; two sisters, Mrs. A. Clyde Herr, Millersville; Paulie G. Zarfoss, Max Meadows, Va., and five grandchildren.
Her pastor, the Rev. Vernon H. Baum, will officiate at funeral services Thursday at 10 a.m. at Zion church. Interment will be in Mt. Rose Cemetery.

Samuel H. Hoke, 78, of 462 W. Market St., retired owner of the Samuel Hoke Co., a building materials firm, died Sunday morning at York Hospital, where he was a patient about a month.
Husband of the late Marie V. Hoke, he was a native of Nashville, a son of the late George and Amanda Hoke. He belonged to Zion United Church of Christ.
Surviving are: Three sons, Donald G. Hoke, Wyndham Drive; Philip H. Hoke, 187 Reynolds Mill Road; Gail H. Hoke, Audubon; five grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Slagle, 103 E. Market St. and Mrs. Catherine Gibbs, 222 E. Philadelphia St.
Mr. Hoke's minister, the Rev. William J. Speers, will officiate at funeral services at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Baumeister and Orcutt Colonial Mortuary, South Queen and Jackson streets. Burial will be in Mount Rose Cemetery.
The family suggested that memorials be made to Zion United Church of Christ.
