Catherine R. Gibbs

Catherine R. Gibbs, 78, of 842 S. Queen St., died at 12:15 p.m. Sunday at Barley Convalescent Home-East.

She was born in York County and was a daughter of the late George and Amanda Stambaugh Hoke.

Survivors include:

Three children — Dr. Mary B. Gibbs, Silver Springs, Md., Mrs. Jean Grove, 842 S. Queen St., and George J. Gibbs, 2303 Bannister St.

Seven grandchildren.

One great-granddaughter.

One sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Slagle, 103 E. Market St.

The Rev. Robert P. Cole will officiate at funeral services at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Robert F. Koller Funeral Home, 2000 W. Market St. Burial will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery.
