Albany— Mr. ad Mrs. Tilman Nipple, Albany, will mark 25 years of married life Aug. 27.
The former Rachel Laughridge, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Laughridge, Albany, and Mr. Nipple of Brodhead, were married in the Albany Methodist parsonage by the Rev. Alfred B. Ninz. Miss Blanche Laughridge, sister of the bride, now Mrs. Walter Meyer, and Nels Nipple, Brodhead, were attendants. Mr. Nipple has been a farmer most of his life and is now employed as a carpenter. Mrs. Nipple was active in the W.S.C.S. when the couple lived in Footville.
Mr. and Mrs. Nipple have two sons, Donald, of Louisville, Ky., and Gordon; two daughters, Lucille and Carol, at home, and two granddaughters, Judith Ann and Donna Jean, of Louisville.

ALBANY — Mrs. Tilman Nipple, 63, died Monday (July 6, 1970) in her home after a long illness.
She was the former Rachel Laughridge. She was married in 1926. She and her husband farmed in Green and Rock Counties until moving to Albany in 1949.
Surviving are her husband; two sons, Donald and Gordon, both of Evansville; two daughters, Mrs. Lawrence Schneider, rural Juda; and Mrs. Virgil Marshall, Veedersburg, Ind.; four brothers, William, Albany; Donald, rural Albany; Moses, Colma, Calif.; and George, Edgerton; four sisters, Mrs. Paul Mueller, Argyle; Mrs. Cyril Briggs and Mrs. Clarence Zweifel, both of rural Brooklyn; and Mrs. Herbert Bernstein, Evansville; 18 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Sharer Funeral Home, Albany. Friends may call from 2 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9p.m. today.

ALBANY—Tilman Nipple, 83, of 201 Milwaukee, died Saturday in St. Clare Hospital, Monroe.
Born March 21, 1898, in Arpin, he was a carpenter and retired farmer. He married Rachel Laughridge on Aug. 27, 1926, in Albany. She died in July 1970. They lived in the Evansville and Albany areas.
Surviving are two sons, Donald of Argyle, and Gordon of Evansville; two daughters, Lucille Schneider of Juda, and Mrs. Carol Marshall of Cayuga, Ind.; 20 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; a brother, John of Monroe; two sisters, Mrs. Margaret Laughridge of Albany, and Mrs. Ana Luce of Prescott, Ariz.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Everson Funeral Home, Brodhead, with burial in Orfordville Lutheran Cemetery. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today.
