Margaret Nipple Bride in Albany

Albany—Miss Margaret Nipple, Brodhead, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Abraham Nipple, and Donald Laughridge, son of Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Laughridge, Albany, were married Saturday in the parsonage of the Methodist church here. The Rev. W. H. Thompson read the single ring service in the presence of Mrs. Kate Garde, Brodhead, sister of the bride, and Carol Anne Nipple, a niece. Attendants were Mr. and Mrs. Tilman Nipple, Albany, brother and sister-in-law of the bride.

The bride wore a gray suit with white accessories and a corsage of red roses.

Following the ceremony the wedding party was served dinner at the Tilman Nipple home. Miss Lucille Nipple, a niece, served.

The bride and groom were guests of honor at a reception Saturday evening in the basement of the Methodist church. They are at home in a trailer house on the groom's father's farm, two miles south of Albany.

Mrs. Margaret E. Laughridge, 73, of rural Albany, died Tuesday at Pleasant View Nursing Home, Monroe.

Born Nov. 4, 1911, in Decatur Township, the former Margaret Nipple married Donald Laughridge on Nov. 3, 1951, in Albany. She lived in the Albany and Brodhead area all her life.

Surviving are her husband; a daughter, Patricia Copps of Monroe; a son, Richard Nipple of Milwaukee; a brother, John Nipple of Monroe; and a sister, Anna Luce of Prescott, Ariz.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday in Gohike Funeral Home, Albany; burial in Hillcrest Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
