Hilda Anne Sherwin

Hilda Anne Sherwin died in Bloomington at Bell Trace Health Center on Friday, March 18, 2022. She was 93 years old. Hilda taught in the Physical Education department at I.U. for 39 years. Hildy was an enthusiastic teacher, a beloved aunt, a treasured friend, a great adventurer, and a devoted member of Trinity Episcopal Church. She is survived by her loving nieces and a host of dear friends. Her extended family includes members of the administration and staff of Meadowood Retirement Community, her home for the last 18 years. A memorial service is being planned for mid-May. Contributions in her memory may be sent to Trinity Episcopal Church, 111 S. Grant Street, Bloomington 47408, marked for the Second Century Fund. Allen Funeral Home.
