STAMBAUGH.—On March 28, 1923, at 8:15 p. m., at Big Mount, Emanuel Stambaugh, aged 72 years, 4 months and 9 days.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services on Sunday at 1:30 p. m., at the house, with further services at Holtzschwam church. Interment in Holtzschwam church cemetery.

Mrs. Alice Jane Stambaugh Dies After Long Illness—Aged 82 Years

BIGMOUNT, April 24.—Mrs. Alice Jane Stambaugh, widow of Emanuel Stambaugh, died at 9 o'clock last evening at her home here. Death resulted from a complication of diseases after a long illness. She was aged 82 years, 1 month and 25 days. Surviving are three sons, Harvey C., Dover R. D.; Curtis S, York, and Willis C., Dover R. D.; a daughter, Mrs. Minnie Lau, Spring Grove; 17 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. The funeral will be held Wednesday with brief services at the house at 9:30 a.m. and concluding services at the Holtzschwamm Union church. The Rev. Dr. G. W. Enders, Jr., pastor of the Lutheran congregation, will officiate. Interment will be in the cemetery adjoining the church. Funeral Director Harry Emig, East Berlin, has charge of the funeral arrangements.
