Mrs. James Stambaugh Dies

Mrs. Mary Ann Stambaugh, wife of James Stambaugh, Jackson avenue, died this morning at 12:10 o'clock. She was aged 74 years. Mrs. Stambaugh was a daughter of the late George and Maria Luckenbaugh Moul, and was born May 22, 1860. Surviving are her husband; two children, William Stambaugh, Dover R. D. 2, and Mrs. Irvin Miller, East Berlin R. D. 2; fourteen grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and one brother, J. Emory Moul, Broadway. The funeral will be held Friday morning. Services will be conducted at the home at 9:30 o'clock and further services in Bair's Meeting house, York Road. Rev. Dr. Marsby J. Roth, pastor of Trinity Reformed church, and Rev. E. V. Strasbaugh, pastor of the Paradise Reformed charge, will officate. Burial will be made in Bair's Meeting House cemetery.

JAMES W. STAMBAUGH

James W. Stambaugh, 86, died yesterday morning at the home of his son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Irvin Miller, Paradise township. He had been ill for the past two months. He is survived by one daughter, Mrs.Miller, at whose home he lived; one son, William E. Stambaugh, Dover R. D. 2; fourteen grandchildren and 6 [great] grandchildren. Mr. Stambaugh was a carpenter by trade and up until four years ago he had lived in or near Hanover. Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Sauter Funeral home and concluding services will be held at Bair's Meeting House, York Road. The Rev. Dr. M. J. Roth, Hanover, will have charge of the service, with the Rev. John S. Royer, pastor of the Paradise Refromed charge, assisting. Burial will be in the cemetery adjoining the Meeting House.
