Mrs. Eunice Adams Williston, aged 70 years, wife of Charles S. Williston, died late yesterday afternoon at her home on Mapleton Avenue, Suffield, after an illness of several months. She was born in Maine, Broome county, N. Y., June 13, 1841, the only daughter of William C. and Jeanette (Wright) Curtiss. Her mother's family was among the earliest settlers of Broome county, to which her mother moved on an ox-sled in 1821, at the age of 2 years. Mrs. Williston removed to Suffield when she was 12 years old. She was married to Charles S. Williston, a prosperous farmer, April 25, 1861, in Springfield, and soon after the couple moved to Suffield. Had Mrs. Williston lived until the 25th of this month, the couple would have celebrated their golden wedding anniversary.
She was a member of the Second Baptist Church, which she joined when se was 16 years old, and of the Mapleton Literary Club, in which she took an active interest. She leaves her husband, a brother, John B. Curtiss of Jersey City, N. J., four children, Mrs. Jewett Wright of Springfield, Mass., William C. Williston of Springfield, Mass., and walter A. Williston adn Burton S. Williston of Torrington; a nephew, Halsey w. Curtiss of Waterbury, and eight grandchildren.

The funeral of Mrs. Charles S. Williston, who died in Suffield Wednesday afternoon, will be held in that place tomorrow afternoon at her home at 2 o'clock, Rev. William Abbott Smith, pastor of the Second Baptist Church, officiating. The burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Springfield. A special trolley car will carry the body and the members of the family and friends to Springfield.

Charles Stanley Williston, 78, died yesterday morning at his home in mapleton avenue. Mr. Williston was born in Suffield, the son of George and Sophronia Stanley Williston. He was one of a family of seven children. On April 25, 1861, Mr. Williston was married to Miss Eunice A. Curtis of Maine, Broome county, N. Y. When he was 21 years old he joined in the rush to the West and spent a year farming in Illinois. He returned to Suffield and took up farming. He later went into the meat business and for 35 years he had conducted a meat wagon in the town. He leaves one sister, Mrs. A. C. Strong of Suffield, and four children, Mrs. Alice J. Wright and William C. Williston of Suffield, Walter and Burton S. Williston of Torrington, also a niece, Mrs. A. B. Crane, and two nephews, George T. and Harry Williston of St. Albans, Vt. Mr. Williston leaves nine grandchildren. THe funeral will be held to-morrow afternoon at 2 at the house. Rev. William Abbot Smith will officiate, and burial will be in Oak Grove cemetery, Springfield.
