Leaderland Deaths

WABASH — Eli David Alexander, 70, a former resident of Michigan Street in Wabash, died at 8:30 a.m. Monday at Hines VA Hospital, Chicago.

He was a retired employe of General Electric Co. Mr. Alexander was a veteran of World War I.

Survivors include his wife, Beulah; three brothers, J. Ernest, Wabash; Orville, Huntington, and Theodore, Lappeer, Mich., and a sister, Mrs. Elmo Chamness, Warsaw.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. THursday at Wire-Nicely Funeral Home, 196 E. Main St., Wabash. Burial will be in Matlock Cemetery. The Veterans of Foreign Wars and American Legion will conduct military graveside rites. Friends may call at the funeral home after noon today.
