Mrs. L. D. Chilcote Dies At Home

Mrs. L. D. Chilcote, of 625 N. Jackson St., passed away at her home at 2:45 p. m. Thursday, January 5.

Mrs. Chilcote leaves to mourn her passing her husband, two daughters, Mrs. George Karch of Bartlesville, and Mrs. Millard Fisher of Okemah; one son, Kenneth of the home; one grandson, Edward Karch of Bartlesville, two sisters and two brothers, Mrs. D. G. Morrisett of Guthrie, Mrs. Henry Chilcote, Edmond; Mr. E. W. Buckley, Guthrie, and Mr. Henry Buckley of Brighton, Tenn.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 7, at 2 p. m. at the Methodist church, Rev. C. D. Meade officiating.

Baggerley Funeral Directors are making the arrangements.

Luther Chilcote, 71, Edmond Carpenter, Passes Away

Luther D. Chilcote, a retired carpenter of Edmond, died last Thursday after a three weeks' illness. He was 71. He was buried Saturday in Gracelawn cemetery there.

Mr. Chilcote was born in Cass county, Mo., and moved to Carney, Oklahoma in 1894. He moved to Edmond 32 years ago.

Surviving are his wife Inez; two daughters, Mrs. Vivian Karch, of Bartlesville and Mrs. Lexie Fisher of Okemah; a son, Kenneth Chilcote, Oklahoma City; two sisters, Mrs. Edna Winkler, McLoud and Mrs. Gertie Wells, Canby, Oregon, a brother, Logan Chilcote, Coalton, Calif., four grand children and four step-children.
