Cook-Elwell.

Miss Margaret Elwell, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Elwell, of 945 Fourteenth avenue southeast, and Mr. George E. Cook were married last evening at 7 o'clock, Dr. H. K. Painter of the Como Congregational church officiating.

Miss Florence Elwell played the bridal music, and the attendants were the Misses Elizabeth Elwell, Ruth Elwell, Mary Elwell, sisters of the bride, and Marguerite Field and Priscilla Alden Morse. Mr. Shirley Reasoner was the best man.

A wedding dinner followed the service. Mr. and Mrs. Cook left for a trip East, and will be at home after Jan. 1 at 1001 Fourteenth avenue southeast.

The bride is a graduate of the University of Minnesota class of '08.

GEORGE E. COOK

Services for George E. Cook, 84, 1001 SE. 14th Av., who died Friday, will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Washburn-McReavy southeast mortuary, 405 Central Av., with burial in Lakewood cemetery.

Mr. Cook, a native of Anoka, was a lifelong resident of the Minneapolis area. He was a retired contracting employe.

Mr. Cook was a member of the Como Congregational church.

Survivors include his wife, Margaret; and four daughters, Mrs. George Plummer, Grand Marais, Minn., Mrs. Arthur Hogetvedt, Robbinsdale, and Mrs. Allan Olson and Carolyn Cook, both Minneapolis.
