JOINS FACULTY—Dr. Ernest E. McCollough of 1025 Braddock Road will join the faculty of Judson College, Marion, Ala., as chairman of the Division of Sciences and professor of chemistry and physics. Dr. McCollough has been associated with the Celanese Corporation of America as a research chemist at the Amcelle plant. A graduate of Louisiana State University, he holds a Ph.D. degree in chemistry from Iowa State University and is a member of Alpha Chi Sigma, Sigma Xi and the American Chemical Society.

Mrs. John A. Hancox, MacDonald Terrace, held a farewell party last night at her home complimentary to Mrs. Ernest McCollough.
Mr. and Mrs. McCollough and their two daughters will leave soon for Marion, Alabama, where Mr. McCollough has accepted a teaching position at Judson College.
Arrangements of flowers were used throughout the home, and refreshments were served. Entertainment for the evening was informal.
Guests, in addition to Mrs. McCollough, were Miss Gertrude Rank, Mrs. Isabel Dawson, Miss Lillian Myers, Miss Mildred Myers, Miss Myrtle Dean, Mrs. Fannie Dean, Miss Irene Lapp and Miss Jan Botsford.

Two former residents of this city were fatally injured Monday in Jacksonville, Fla., when they were struck by a vehicle while crossing a street.
Dr. Ernest E. McCollough, 80, was killed instantly and Mrs. Zelia Elizabeth McCollough, 75, was hospitalized for a brief period before her death. Former residents of Braddock Road, the couple more recently resided in Dunedin, Fla.
Dr. McCollough was born Feb. 14, 1900, in Louisiana. He had been a staff employee for 20 years at the Amcelle Plant of the Celanese Corporation of America and a member of the First Baptist Church, both here and at Dunedin.
Surviving Dr. McCollough are three brothers and three sisters, all of Louisiana.
Born here March 8, 1905, Mrs. McCollough was the daughter of the late Otis Wisman and Sarah (Hite) Wisman.
She was a former home economics teacher employed by the Allegany County Board of Education at Pennsylvania Avenue High School and a member of the First Baptist Church, here and at Dunedin.
Surviving Mrs. McCollough are two daughters, Dr. Lois Boylen, Malibu, Calif.; Mrs. Vera Pyser, High Point, N.C.; a sister, Mary W. Straw, this city; a brother, Franklin O. Wisman, Chambersburg, Pa., and three grandchildren.
Services for the couple will be conducted Friday in Dunedin.
The family requests memorials take the form of donations to the Appalachian Collection at Allegany Community College.
