Holtzschwamm—Ervin W. Miller, 47, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Miller, Hanover, died Saturday afternoon at Jefferson hospital, Philadelphia, where he was a patient fourteen weeks. Death was caused by a complication of diseases. He was a farmer and resided near Holtzschwamm.
Besides his parents, he is survived by his wife, Mrs. Jennie Stambaugh Miller, and the following children: Corporal Alton B. Miller, somewhere in India; Frances Miller, Hanover; Mrs. Gordon Coble, Raymond, Walton, Ervin, Glen, Mary, Madeline, Betty, Dorothy and Donald Miller, all at home; one granddaughter, three brothers, Daniel and Richard Miller, Hanover, and Staff Sergeant Calvin Miller, South Pacific; and one sister, Mrs. Raymond Rearich, near York. The deceased was a member of the Reformed congregation at Holtzschwamm Union church.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon, with a brief service at his late home at 1:30 o'clock and concluding services at Baer's Meeting House, York road. Burial will be in the cemetery adjoining the Meeting House. Rev. John S. Royer, pastor of Paradise Reformed charge, will officiate.

EAST BERLIN — Mrs. Jennie E. Miller, 72, of East Berlin RD 1, wife of the late Irvin W. Miller, died Tuesday at 8 p.m. at York Hospital, following a long illness.
She belonged to Paradise (Holtzschwamm) United Church of Chirst. A native of Heidelberg Township, she was a daughter of the late James and Mary Ann Moul Stambaugh.
Surviving are: Five sons, Raymond C. Miller, at home; Alton B. Miller, Hanover RD 1; Welton G. Miller, Dover RD 4; Glenn R. Miller, Thomasville RD 1; six daughters, Frances M. Mummert, 145 Willow St., Hanover; Mrs. Allen Pittenger, 2182 Bannister St., York; Mrs. Mary Ann Becker, East Berlin; Mrs. Glenn Baker, Abbottstown RD 1; Mrs. Madeline Laughman, Abbottstown RD 1, and Mrs. Richard Leppo, at home; 13 grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Her pastor, The Rev. John B. Zinn, will officiate at funeral services Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Sauther Funeral Home, 175 N. Main St., Spring Grove. Burial will be in York Road Cemetery.
